The district's youth education center invites young people to a free workshop on September 13th
Groß-Gerau. The Groß-Gerau district's youth education center offers young people between the ages of 16 and 26 the opportunity to actively take a stand against right-wing and racist slogans. The "Stammtischkämpfer*innen" (roughly translated as "Challengers at the Table") seminar on Saturday, September 13, 2025, will focus on concrete strategies for arguing against discriminatory statements in everyday life.
The one-day seminar takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Anne Frank Youth Center (Grüner Weg 5, 64521 Groß-Gerau). In practical exercises with two experienced team members from the "Stand Up Against Racism" initiative, participants will practice their quick-wittedness and learn to confidently deal with right-wing slogans in everyday situations.
Participation is free of charge. Registration is possible until September 5, 2025, via a PDF form on the Groß-Gerau district website .
The offer is part of the series “Become a Democracy Amplifier!” , which also includes a democracy workshop and an educational trip to Erfurt from October 3rd to 6th, 2025.
