Music, community and thanks for many years of commitment in Riedstadt
With vocals, accordion and a good atmosphere Despite the rain, the Attome initiative its summer festival in Riedstadt. Originally planned for June 30, 2025, the event was postponed to July 7th due to the weather - constant rain was made from oppressive heat. Without further ado, the festival moved to the hall of the Social Community Foundation Riedstadt , where guests, helping and the team of the advice center for older people Riedstadt and Stockstadt still experienced a happy get -together.
The focus on music and community
The guests were lovingly provided with coffee and cake by the numerous volunteers. The afternoon was musically accompanied by Erich Zöllner , born in 1936, who provided a special atmosphere with his accordion. The head of the counseling center, Stefanie Drozdzynski , emphasized the importance of singing together in all groups of the breathing space: "Our groups are powerful - and even musically supported with Mr. Zöllner."
Humorous visit and personal appreciation
Mayor and board member Chairman Marcus Kretschmann did not miss the opportunity to stop by briefly. With a wink he promised: "I let them sing along two board members who sing along for" - a humorous reference to department head Rick Hölzer and city councilor Richard Kraft , who accompanied the scene with a smile.
chairman of the foundation advisory board Burkhard Held also emphasized the value of the initiative: "I find the breathing space a wonderful relief service." Special thanks also went to the Erfeld country women , who regularly supply the groups with homemade cakes and also with ice cream in summer.
Honor for many years of commitment
Several volunteers have been awarded for their many years of use in the breathing space:
- Elke Korbella-Nold : 10 years of cooperation in the home relief service and in groups
- Wolfgang Pöpperl : 10 years of engagement in relief and driving service
- Marlies Grüll : 15 years of home relief and group work
The event made it clear how important personal encounter, musical impulses and volunteer work are for the social interaction of older people in Riedstadt.
