SV Darmstadt 98 used the international break for a friendly match against SV Waldhof Mannheim. Behind closed doors, the game at the Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor ended in a spectacular 5-5 (1-2) draw . While Darmstadt impressed offensively with some beautiful combinations, their defense showed weaknesses – partly due to several absences. Coach Florian Kohfeldt was nevertheless satisfied: "Many players made a positive impression today; the test was worthwhile."
