SV Darmstadt 98 used the international break to play a friendly against SV Waldhof Mannheim. Behind closed doors, the match at the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor ended in a spectacular 5-5 (1-2) draw . While the Lilies impressed offensively with beautiful combinations, their defense revealed weaknesses – also due to several absences. Coach Florian Kohfeldt was nevertheless satisfied: "Many players made a positive impression today; the friendly was worthwhile."
