Winners from Riedstadt for commitment with a trophy, documents and ice cream rewarded
Riedstadt -As part of a small ceremony in the ice cream parlor on Rathausplatz, the most successful Riedstadt participants of this year's city cycling in the district of Groß-Gerau were honored. Mayor Marcus Kretschmann and Sandra Seum from the environmental group thanked all active people for their commitment and presented the deserved awards for ice cream and documents.
"I think it's great that we even had 116 cycling more this year. And I was particularly pleased that the challenge cup has never hiked," said Kretschmann with a smile. Since the introduction of the challenge cup in 2021, it went to the Büchnerstadt every time - and could be defended again in 2025. With 5.92 kilometers per inhabitant, Riedstadt is again in front of Mörfelden-Walldorf (5.31 km) and Stockstadt (4.39 km) . In the absolutely rattled kilometers, Riedstadt took third place behind Rüsselsheim (248,649 km) and Mörfelden-Walldorf (170,911 km) 137,859 km
Double victory for Martin-Niemöller School
Martin Niemöller School , which was awarded gold twice, was particularly successful

- Most kilometers with 44,937 km
The second largest team provided the daycare center of the small feet of Erfelden with 92 active people, followed by TSV Goddelau with 87 participants. The TSV also received bronze for 9,848 km in the "Most of the Kilometer" category. Silver went to the open team of Riedstadt , which 10,422 kilometers .
Impressive individual services
The following groups were at the front of the rating kilometer per team member
- Gold: "Die Verlähr" (823 km per member)
- Silver: "Seniors without an electric motor" (637 km)
- Bronze: Open team Riedstadt (453 km)
In the individual ranking Stefan Hummel was again ahead with 1,495 kilometers Patrick Hummel , who came to 1,400 kilometers . Since Patrick was not present, his father accepted the certificate on behalf.
The most recent registered participant was also considered: Helge Scharun (2 years and 5 months) could not appear personally, but five -year -old Emma Schmitt from the "House of Little Feet" daycare center received a special recognition for her contribution to team work.
