Silverballs and the duo Dillmann/Kaufhold will be performing at Theater Mobile on September 5th and 6th
Two musically very different programs are on the schedule at the Theater Mobile in Zwingenberg . On Saturday, September 5, 2026, the Silverballs will bring rock 'n' roll to the stage. A day later, Ralph Dillmann and Gerd Kaufhold combine music and chansons with humor in "Are You Knee or Hip? Part 2".
Silverballs take the audience on a journey through rock 'n' roll history
The Silverballs (featured image) will be performing their "Rock'n'Roll Juke Box" on Saturday, September 5th, at 8 pm . The band has been touring for around 15 years and, according to their own statements, has played more than 500 concerts in Germany.
Musically, the Silverballs don't limit themselves to the classics of the 1950s. Songs by Chuck Berry, Sam Cooke, Fats Domino, and Louis Prima are just as much a part of their repertoire as later rock 'n' roll-influenced tracks. These include, for example, Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and Elton John's "Crocodile Rock.".
The band interprets the songs in their own style, tailored to their live shows. Original compositions are increasingly part of their repertoire. Silverballs have already released their own single, "C'mon Pretty Baby".
The group was awarded the German Rock & Pop Prize in the category "Best Rock'n'Roll Band".
Musical "combination therapy" for knees, hips and heart
On Sunday, September 6th, at 6 p.m., Ralph Dillmann and Gerd Kaufhold will take to the stage. With "Are You Knee or Hip? Part 2", they continue their musically humorous look at the human body.
The program originated from a question Ralph Dillmann was asked at the beginning of his rehabilitation: "Are you a knee or a hip problem?" This sparked the idea for an evening of chansons. After the first program, Dillmann, who sings and hosts, and Kaufhold, who provides piano, vocals, and hosting, once again set out to find songs about the human body.
In the second part, they explore topics such as eyes, the heart and heartbreak, as well as legs and other body parts. The program includes songs and chansons by artists including Georg Kreisler, Bodo Wartke, and Friedrich Hollaender.

Both events will take place at Theater Mobile, Obertor 1, 64673 Zwingenberg.
