Peaceful campaign on July 13th in the parking lot in front of the media ship
Under the motto "for human dignity and diversity", the local alliance is calling in Weiterstadt on Sunday, July 13, 2025, to participate in a peaceful counter -demonstration. The occasion is a short -term meeting of so -called "Reichsbürger", which is also to take place in the city on this day.
The counter -demonstration begins at 12:45 p.m. in the parking lot in front of the media ship in Darmstädter Straße 40 . In order to set a visible sign against extremism, exclusion and democratic tendencies, the campaign is deliberately kept calm - without longer speeches. Instead, the silent but clear presence of the participants is intended to set a joint signal for social cohesion.
As a symbolic gesture for openness and diversity, colorful balloons filled with helium will climb into the sky.
The event is open to all people who want to work for a democratic and tolerant society. A prior registration is not required.
Note: The parking lot in front of the media ship will be closed to traffic from Saturday, July 12, 1:30 p.m. (after the weekly market) until Sunday evening, 7:00 p.m.
