City welcomes committed young talent to City Hall, Library and Daycare Centers
Weiterstadt. Ralf Möller trainees, volunteers, and interns at Weiterstadt's town hall last week . This year, another dedicated group of young people will begin their professional or volunteer work for the city and its institutions.
"We are delighted to welcome so many motivated young people," said Möller in his welcoming address. "They all make an important contribution to our city – whether in the administration, the library, or our daycare centers."
New recruits for daycare centers, libraries and administration
This year, five PivA trainees , eight interns (from the vocational college and social assistance courses) and two volunteers in the social year (FSJ) started their work in the municipal daycare centers.
PivA stands for practice-integrated, paid training to become a kindergarten teacher. Unlike traditional school-based training, trainees work directly in the institutions and receive training remuneration – a model that closely integrates theory and practice.

Use in the city library and town hall
At the Weiterstadt Public Library, a new volunteer is supporting the team with lending, media maintenance , and event organization.
