The company supports the initiative "Every tree counts – plant the future with us" with a strong message for climate protection.
Groß-Gerau-Dornheim. The first trees of a large-scale reforestation project in the Heißfeld forest . Under the motto "Every tree counts – plant the future with us," numerous partners are participating, including Überlandwerk Groß-Gerau GmbH (ÜWG) , which is supporting the project with 100 trees .
The initiative was launched Marvin Herzog , Managing Director of ImmoBauFinanz GmbH Waldfreunde gGmbH , the Dornheim primary school , and several kindergartens . A total of approximately 1,000 new trees to be planted in the Dornheim Heißfeld forest – financed by donations from private individuals, associations, and companies.
Children actively involved in planting
The tree-planting campaign began symbolically at the Seven Siblings Oak and places particular emphasis on the involvement of young people. "The children from Dornheim are at the heart of the project: they plant the trees themselves and learn a lot about nature, sustainability, and climate protection in the process," explains initiator Marvin Herzog .
ÜWG also sees its participation as a contribution to environmental responsibility in the region. Jürgen Schmidt , Managing Director of ÜWG, emphasizes:
“Sustainability and climate protection are central priorities for our group of companies. It was a matter of course for us to support this worthwhile project. We are particularly pleased that children are so actively involved – they are our future, and we are delighted to be part of this project.”
The tree planting project contributes to strengthening the Dornheim forest in the long term and promoting ecological responsibility in the Groß-Gerau region.
