Excursions to the barefoot park, to Frankfurt and Mannheim – register now until July 4th
Children and teenagers from Riedstadt can look forward to a diverse holiday program during the summer holidays of 2025: The Riedstadt Youth Office and the Auszeit eV association are jointly offering six exciting activity days for 9- to 16-year-olds "Holiday Fun" series and can be booked individually or as a complete package. Places are limited, and registration is open until Friday, July 4th .
Experience nature, meet animals, actively relax
The first excursion will take place on Tuesday, July 15th, to the barefoot park in Bad Sobernheim . The nature-themed adventure trail leads across sand, meadows, a suspension bridge, and through a river. The meeting point is at 10:00 AM in the parking lot behind the town hall, and the return is expected around 6:00 PM . Cost: 5 euros .
on Wednesday, July 16th Yoga and relaxation are on the agenda in the small gym of the Martin-Niemöller-School in Goddelau 10:45 a.m. , and the session will end around 2 p.m. Participation is free .
Action in Frankfurt and Mannheim
On Thursday, July 17th, we're heading to the popular Mainspiele Frankfurt festival on the Sachsenhausen bank of the Main River. With around 20 activity stations, the program offers games, fun, and exercise. Meeting point: 10:45 am at Goddelau train station , return around 5 pm . Cost: 5 euros .
A unique animal experience awaits participants on Tuesday, August 12th : During an alpaca taster session with a picnic, they will get to know these friendly animals up close. The meeting point is at 10:00 a.m. at the town hall, with a return around 3:00 p.m. Cost: 5 euros .
On Wednesday, August 13th, there will be a trip to Luisenpark Mannheim – with playgrounds, animals, boat rentals, and more. Meeting point: 10:00 a.m. at the town hall , return around 5:00 p.m. Cost: 5 euros . Packed lunch and spending money for ice cream or a boat ride are recommended.
a visit to the Mörfelden-Walldorf forest swimming pool on Thursday, August 14th . The meeting point is at 10:45 a.m. at Goddelau train station, with a return around 5 p.m. Cost: 5 euros .
