An information session on October 21st will present support services offered by the Psychosocial Services
The VdK Pfungstadt local chapter invites you to an information session on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, about support services for people with mental health conditions. As part of the senior citizens' café, a speaker from the Psychosocial Services (PSD) Bergstraße will present various support options. The event begins at 2:30 p.m. at the TTC in Pfungstadt, located at Christian-Meid-Straße 29.
Under the motto "We leave no one alone," Ms. Sponagel from PSD will provide information about support and assistance options for everyday life. The event is aimed at VdK members and other interested parties. Questions from the audience are also welcome.
Psychosocial services provide support in everyday life
Psychosocial Services Bergstraße is a non-profit organization that supports people with mental illnesses, people with mental disabilities, socially disadvantaged people and their relatives.
The aim is to enable those affected to lead as independent a life and participate in society as possible. The support provided is tailored to the individual needs, strengths, and abilities of each person.
Services include in-home assistance, supported living in host families, and day care. Families with a mentally ill parent can also receive support through social-pedagogical family assistance.
During the information session, the speaker will explain what assistance is available and how those affected can receive support.
Registration required by October 16th
The event will take place on Wednesday, October 21st, at 2:30 p.m. at the TTC in Pfungstadt. Parking is available. Those interested are asked to register with Elisabeth Naß by Friday, October 16th.
