Submit proposals by August 31st – prize money up to 1,000 euros
For the eighth time, the Groß-Gerau district, together with the Groß-Gerau district savings bank, the Volunteer Prize . The prize is intended to recognize individuals or groups who have distinguished themselves through their outstanding and sustained commitment to the common good .
Applications and nominations can be submitted until August 31, 2025. €1,000 per award , with a total of €3,000 awarded.
Award in three categories
The award recognizes individuals or projects whose commitment extends beyond the local level and is considered exemplary. The prize is awarded in the following three categories:
- Young volunteers : People under 25 years of age with exceptional voluntary commitment
- Innovative projects : New ideas and initiatives from associations, groups or individuals
- Long-term commitment : Individuals with at least 25 years of voluntary work
