City of Griesheim activates water features on seven playgrounds and puts on sun sail
Just in time for the spring start, the city of Griesheim put the water play equipment into operation in its public playgrounds. On Monday (April 29), the municipal playground commissioner Daniel Landau, together with the building yard, hired the water on the seven affected plants.
In the coming days, the urban team will also be able to put sun sails on several playgrounds and in daycare centers. These ensure shadows and protect the children from intensive sunlight during the summer months.
Water features are available in Griesheim on the following playgrounds:
- Wolf path
- Gyönker Strasse
- Lindenstrasse
- St. Stephansplatz
- Wiesengarten in Weserstrasse
- Forest playground
With the systems activated in good time, the city offers families and children optimal conditions for playing and cooling in the warm season.
