Over 60 participants, strong results and more than 1,100 euros for a good cause
Brombachtal. Just two days after the after-work tournament in Gernsheim, the WIEST Charity Golf Tour (WCGTour) another stop on Sunday – this time at the traditional "Monthly Cup" at the Odenwald Golf Club. Despite a changeable weather forecast, the tournament was blessed with sunshine and attracted around 60 golfers to the well-maintained course in Brombachtal. It was the seventh tournament of the current series.

The tournament kicked off promptly at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start. Even beforehand, the participants expressed their satisfaction with the organization and the catering provided by the club. The 18-hole tournament itself ran smoothly, both on and off the course. Around 5 p.m., the last groups returned to the clubhouse in high spirits – many with impressive scores.

More than 1,100 euros for the VKKD
a sporting perspective, the tournament saw 17 birdies, 208 pars, and 405 bogeys – a performance rewarded with €495.50 in donations for the Association for Children with Cancer and Chronic Illnesses Darmstadt / Rhine-Main-Neckar e. V. (VKKD). Additional donations at the awards ceremony added another €660 , bringing the total to €1,155.50 .
