The number of weekly markets in Darmstadt continues to grow: Starting in July , a new weekly market will open in the Ludwigshöhe district. Residents and visitors will be able to buy fresh food and regional products every Wednesday at Karl-Plagge-Platz.
The new weekly market takes every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. To start, visitors can expect a selection of gourmet foods, baked goods, meat and sausage products, and flowers.
The new market provides the Ludwigshöh district with an additional meeting place for local shopping and strengthens local supply in the neighborhood.
In addition to traditional shopping, the weekly market is also intended to serve as a meeting place and further revitalize the growing urban district.
