Deep cleaning and modernization ensure greater comfort and safety
The Weiterstadt indoor swimming pool will be temporarily closed this summer for cleaning and maintenance work . The closure begins on Monday, July 7, 2025, and ends on Sunday, August 17, 2025.on Monday, August 18The pool will reopen
during the closure modernization and maintenance work . The planned work includes:
- Inspection and assessment of the cracks on the 3-meter diving platform
- Installation of new outdoor lighting with motion detectors
- Repair of the surge tanks
- Maintenance of showers and sanitary facilities
- Replacing damaged tiles
- Main compressor maintenance
"These measures are necessary to ensure safety, hygiene, and comfort at the indoor swimming pool in the long term," emphasizes Mayor Ralf Möller. The city asks all pool visitors for their understanding regarding the temporary closure.
