The children's and youth services department is offering training on October 25th and 26th
The Reinheim Children's and Youth Services is organizing a Wendo course for girls aged 6 to 11 of October 25th and 26th . The course will take place from 10 am to 1 pm each day at the KSG Georgenhausen .
Wendo is not an Asian martial art, but a form of self-defense specifically developed for women and girls. In addition to technical exercises, the course also includes discussions and conversations to help participants process and understand their experiences. The goal is to empower participants to be confident and assertive .
The course is led by Doris Aubele from the association Frauen Offensiv in Darmstadt. The participation fee is 30 euros per child .

Mayor Manuel Feick emphasizes: "It is very important that girls can present themselves with confidence. I am pleased that our children's and youth services offer these courses regularly."
