Former SWR1 music director tells the stories behind the world hits
An evening full of music and stories awaits the audience on Friday, April 25, 2025 , at the Hofgut Reinheim Cultural Center . Former SWR1 music director Werner Köhler, together with singer and pianist Tobias Bieker, present his program, which is dedicated to the big and small anecdotes behind the most popular pop hits.
Known from the successful SWR1 show "Hits and Stories ," Köhler shares behind-the-scenes stories about world-famous songs and their origins. He recounts personal encounters and interviews with music legends such as Udo Jürgens, Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, BAP, Peter Maffay, Elton John, and Herbert Grönemeyer . Musical accompaniment is provided by Tobias Bieker , who impressively interprets the hits with his voice and piano.
The event starts at 8:00 PM , doors open at 7:30 PM . Tickets are available in advance and at the door.
