The youth office and the Auszeit association are offering holiday activities in the second week of January.
There are still places available for WinterFun event by the youth office of the town of Riedstadt and the association Auszeit eV registration deadline has therefore been extended to Friday, January 2 , 2026. The registration form is available at all youth centers and in Riedstadt Town Hall and can also be downloaded from the town of Riedstadt's website.
The program items can booked individually and are aimed – depending on the offer – at children and young people aged eight or nine and over .
Tuesday, January 6, 2026: Time-Out Fun Sports Olympics
festivities kick off with a fun sports Olympics in the gymnasium of the Martin-Niemöller-School . From 10 a.m. , children and teenagers aged eight and up in activities including agility exercises , throwing and catching , archery , cross-boule and basketball . Participation is free , and the event is scheduled 2 p.m.
Wednesday, January 7, 2026: Art workshop “Light and Shadow”
On Wednesday, an art workshop on the theme of "Light and Shadow" . Participants will experiment with photographic techniques and learn various painting methods . It starts at 10:00 a.m. at the Erfelden Youth Center and ends at 3:00 p.m. eight and up are welcome to participate; the cost is €5 .
Thursday, January 8, 2026: Trip to the Wiesbaden Museum
On Thursday, we're going to the Museum Wiesbaden . The plan includes a visit to the permanent exhibition, a guided tour , and a "Color Workshop - Painting with Liquid Paints." Afterwards, there will be time to explore the museum on your own and visit Wiesbaden's city center

- Arrival: by car
- Meeting point: 9:45 a.m. , parking lot behind the Riedstadt town hall
- Return: around 5:15 pm
- Participation: from nine years of age
Friday, January 9, 2026: Ice skating in Darmstadt
ice skating at the Darmstadt ice rink . We'll meet at 10 a.m. at the Erfelden youth center and return around 5 p.m.
- Cost: 5 euros per person
- Skate rental (if needed): 4 euros on site
- Participation: from nine years of age
