RP Darmstadt and Consumer Advice Center Hesse warn against unsafe online offers
Darmstadt. When the peak online shopping season begins Black Friday , Cyber Monday Hesse Consumer Advice Center and the Market Monitoring Office at the Darmstadt Regional Council (RP) about the typical pitfalls of online shopping in a free online presentation, "Your Click, Your Risk," on Tuesday, October 29, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
harmful ingredients, defective CE markings, or missing warnings are increasingly finding their way into German households via online platforms. Missing instructions or suspiciously low prices can be the first warning signs.
In the presentation, Olesja Jäger from the Hessen Consumer Advice Center and Michael Schäfer from the Darmstadt Regional Council will use concrete examples to how consumers can identify unsafe products and protect themselves from fake shops . They will also explain what to do if a dangerous product has already been purchased.
