Büttelborner Ensemble receives the district's cultural funding award
The Büttelborn youth wind orchestra is the bearer of the 2024 Cultural Promotion Award of the Groß-Gerau district. The Jury of Culture (Funding) Prize selected the ensemble, founded in 1990, with around 30 members from several proposals.
Award ceremony at the “Volk in the Castle” festival
The Cultural Promotion Award is awarded every year with the cultural award of the Groß-Gerau district. Usually the honor takes at the beginning of the year . Due to the planned seasons of the orchestra, the award ceremony was postponed to August 24, 2024 .

The jury emphasized the outstanding musical training and the voluntary cultural and youth work of the orchestra.

- The equipment with wind instruments , which has become rare in today's world
- The social and infrastructural importance for youth work
important cultural and pedagogical support in the work of the orchestra - especially for a musical genre that is no longer the focus today.
