Klein medical supply store donates wheelchair to visitors with limited mobility
The Vivarium Zoo in Darmstadt has received a new wheelchair from the medical supply company Klein . The wheelchair is now available for free loan in the zoo shop and is intended to make access easier for visitors with limited mobility.
“Our vivarium has barrier-free access: With the largely level circular route, we also enable people with limited mobility to participate in the zoo and are proud to be able to expand this offer once again,” explained City Treasurer André Schellenberg .
The medical supply company Klein also emphasized its close ties to the Darmstadt Zoo. "We are happy to support the Vivarium because everyone in our company feels connected to the zoo and appreciates this place for spending enjoyable hours with the family. We are also delighted that there is always something new to discover," said Jan Geier from the medical supply company Klein.
