Workshops, guided tours and photography courses for children
As the city of Darmstadt, a center of science and research, announces, the Vivarium Zoo in Darmstadt is offering a diverse program for children and teenagers during the Easter holidays. Planned activities include guided tours, workshops, and a photography course focusing on the animal kingdom.
Guided tour on the topic of eggs in the animal kingdom
On Wednesday, April 1st, at 10 a.m., a guided tour entitled "Eggs in the Animal Kingdom" will be offered. Various animal species that lay eggs will be presented, and different egg shapes will be explained.
Participation costs €4.50 per person in addition to the regular admission fee.
Workshop on pets and farm animals
On Wednesday, April 8th, a two-hour workshop on the topic "Why pets are farm animals" will take place starting at 10 am.
The participation fee is 9 euros per person plus admission.
Photo workshop with nature photographer
Also on April 8th, a four-hour photography workshop for children and teenagers begins at 10 a.m. Under the guidance of a nature photographer, participants will learn how to take successful animal photographs.
The workshop also includes visits to selected enclosures to photograph animals up close. Participation costs €69, which includes admission.
