Free admission for first graders on August 19th and 21st
Darmstadt. Young animals don't have textbooks or homework – yet they still have to learn important rules to survive in nature. The Vivarium Zoo will demonstrate how this works during its special guided tour "How Animals Learn" on Tuesday, August 19, and Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 2 p.m.
The 45-minute event is aimed at children starting school and is designed to playfully accompany them on their journey to primary school. First-graders from Darmstadt have free admission as part of the guided tour; accompanying adults pay the regular admission price. The meeting point is at the Zoo School.
