Children aged six to 14 can sell for free – places will be allocated on site on the day of the event
on Friedensplatz in Darmstadt on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children aged six to 14 can sell their own used items there. Participation is free; there is no stall fee.
The flea market is organized by the Family Center of the City of Darmstadt. Advance reservations are not possible. Registration and space allocation take place directly on-site at the Family Center's stand.
Blankets instead of tables and clothes racks
Children may bring blankets or sleeping mats to use as a sales area. Tables, clothing racks, and similar structures are not permitted. Furthermore, only as many items may be offered as the children themselves can carry.
Items that can be sold include toys, clothing, books, comics, and other used goods. War toys are prohibited.
Participants must provide their own food and drinks.
The children's flea market will be cancelled in case of unsuitable weather conditions. The family center will publish current information on the Darmstadt Family Education website.
