Action in Groß-Gerau sets an example for respect and exchange
The police, together with the city of Groß-Gerau and the city police, invite you to the "Coffee with a cop" event on the market square in Groß-Gerau on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
Conversations over a cup of coffee
From 10 am to 1 pm, citizens have the opportunity to chat with police officers over a cup of "emergency coffee".
The event takes place alongside the weekly market and is part of the Hessian state government's respect campaign.
On site, local police officers, staff from the police advisory center, representatives of the city, and officers from the police station and police headquarters in Groß-Gerau are available for discussions.
Topics range from prevention to civic courage
Those interested can ask questions about safety, prevention and civic courage, or address personal concerns.
Topics such as burglary prevention, senior citizen prevention, and respectful interaction with emergency and rescue services are also central to the campaign.
With this event, the city and police want to send a message of greater cohesion and mutual respect.
