After a long break: Stage program, music and interactive activities on June 14th in Darmstadt-Eberstadt
On Saturday, June 14, 2025, the Eberstadt district invites everyone to its large neighborhood festival again, starting at 2 p.m. after a long break. The event will take place in the area in front of the Wilhelm-Hauff-School on Oberstraße. A diverse program with music, dance, interactive activities, and culinary offerings will provide many opportunities for meeting and exchanging ideas until 9 p.m. – organized by local institutions, clubs, and faith communities.
The festival begins at 2 p.m. with a welcome address and an interfaith prayer. Afterwards, children and young people will present the stage program: with contributions from the Paradies Children's Center, the Wilhelm Hauff School, and the group "Musical Vision," the afternoon will be dedicated to the younger generation. This will be followed by creative and artistic performances, including a pantomime, dance and music groups, and the Waldoni Circus.
A highlight will be the appearance of Mayor Hanno Benz at around 4:30 p.m., followed by performances from His Glory Ministry and the dance group Oreos. At 6 p.m., Deputy Mayor Barbara Akdeniz is expected, before a live band provides the musical finale to the festivities.
The neighborhood festival ends around 9 pm.
The festival is aimed at all residents of Eberstadt as well as guests from across Darmstadt and seeks to showcase the district as a diverse, open, and inclusive place. The event is organized with the support of numerous local stakeholders and institutions.
