After a long break: stage program, music and hands-on activities on June 14th in Darmstadt-Eberstadt
On Saturday, June 14, 2025, the district of Eberstadt invites you to the big district festival from 2 p.m. after a long break. The venue is the area in front of the Wilhelm Hauff school in Oberstrasse. A colorful program with music, dance, hands -on activities and culinary offers offers many opportunities for encounter and exchange until 9 p.m. - organized by local facilities, clubs and faith communities.
The festival begins at 2 p.m. with a greeting and an interreligious prayer. Afterwards, children and adolescents design the stage program: With contributions from the Kinderhaus Paradies, the Wilhelm Hauff school and the group "Musical Vision", the afternoon is all about the younger generation. This is followed by creative and artistic appearances, including a pantomime performance, dance and music groups as well as the Circus Waldoni.
A highlight is the appearance of Mayor Hanno Benz around 4.30 p.m., followed by contributions from the His Glory Ministry and the Oreos dance group. Mayor Barbara Akdeniz is expected at 6 p.m. before a live band ends the festival musically.
The district festival ends around 9 p.m.
The festival is aimed at all Eberstadt residents and guests from all over Darmstadt and would like to present the district as a diverse, open and solidarity place. The event is organized with the support of numerous local actors and facilities.
