ENTEGA starts work in Darmstadt – completion planned by mid-October
DARMSTADT – Since August 19, 2025, ENTEGA carrying out renovation work on the district heating network in Lichtwiesenweg on behalf of Iqony Wärme GmbH. This measure aims to ensure a sustainable and reliable heat supply in the long term. The work is expected to be completed by mid-October 2025.
Restrictions during the construction period
During the construction work, noise and temporary disruptions are to be expected. Short-term access restrictions may occur. The parking lot located to the north, between the road and the tram line, will be particularly affected and will have limited availability.
Where possible, access roads and driveways will be kept passable using mobile bridges or steel plates. ENTEGA requests that you observe the temporary no-parking zones, barriers, and traffic management measures to ensure swift construction progress.

ENTEGA publishes current information on possible supply disruptions and inconveniences caused by construction sites via the e-netz Ticker app and on the website www.e-netz-suedhessen.de .
