The Friends' Association invites you to the orchard center on October 11th – apples will be pressed into fresh sweet juice on site
The Friends of Eberstadt Orchards invite you to their traditional cider festival at the orchard center on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 2 pm to 6 pm . The focus will be on the apples from the association's own orchards, which will be processed on-site using hand presses.
Visitors can watch as fresh cider is made from the apples and taste it right there. Fresh cider is also sold to take away; please bring your own containers.
Products from the Eberstadt orchards
In addition to cider pressing, the association offers coffee and cake as well as sheep sausage. They also sell various products from the Eberstadt orchards, including homemade cider, fruit brandies, jellies and jams, and honey.
“From the apple in the meadow to the fresh sweetness in the glass, the path is only a few steps,” says board member Anita Wenzel about the cider festival.
With this event, the Friends Association aims to highlight the importance of Eberstadt's orchards as a cultural landscape and habitat for numerous animal and plant species. The association is committed to the preservation and maintenance of these orchards.

Note: Anyone wishing to buy and take away fresh cider should bring their own container.
