Ecumenical celebration with guests from Darmstadt's twin cities
As part of the European Weekend, the Working Group of Christian Churches (ACK) Darmstadt to an international ecumenical service on Saturday, May 24, 2025 , at 3:30 p.m. in the Geibelsche Schmiede (Oberstraße 20, Eberstadt).
The church service marks the end of the traditional border walk with delegations from Darmstadt's European partner cities , who also participate in the celebration.
Music and inspiration from various churches
A greeting will be given by Ludwig Achenbach , district administrator of Eberstadt. The spiritual reflection will be provided by Pastor André Goncalves of the Marienhöhe Adventist Church . Musical accompaniment will be provided by the brass choirs of the Adventist churches and the YMCA .
The event is dedicated to European unity and Christian community .
