Work will begin on October 14th in several streets and is expected to last until mid-December – parking restrictions will be in place
ENTEGA will begin work on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 , to further expand the fiber optic network in Darmstadt-Eberstadt. Conduits for fiber optic cables will be laid in several streets. The work is expected to last until mid-December
The affected streets are Schloßstraße 2 to 28, Heidelberger Landstraße 262 to 272, Odenwaldstraße 2 to 26 and 1 to 25 and Alte Sackgasse.
Parking restrictions and additional construction noise
According to ENTEGA, additional noise is to be expected during the construction work. Parking restrictions will also be in place in the affected areas. Residents will be informed about the work in writing.
