Contact point for vocational training, advice and qualification
The science city of Darmstadt and the Darmstadt Employment Agency opened a central contact point for vocational training, advice and qualification at the M² vocational school center North with the new educational point.
The educational point in Darmstadt offers individual advice on all questions relating to further professional training and support in returning to the profession. In addition, citizens receive information about funding opportunities and financial support during their qualification measures. Companies benefit from the targeted advice on employee qualifications and to secure specialists.
The educational point is a cooperation between the Darmstadt employment agency and regional network partners who bundle their resources in order to promote a sustainable further training culture in the region. The educational point is supported by the Hessencampus Darmstadt, the Volkshochschule Darmstadt and the Chamber of Industry and Industry in Darmstadt. “The opening of the educational point is an important step to make further education and lifelong learning in times of digitization and shortage of skilled workers accessible to all citizens and to open up new perspectives. The educational point shows how strongly we focus on cooperation and innovative solutions in Darmstadt in order to shape the future together and contribute to securing skilled workers in the region. The m² offers an environment that optimally promotes learning and exchange. The combination of modern architecture and functional design creates an inspiring atmosphere for advice and further education, ”says head of education Holger Klötzner.
