Ecumenical service with music on Pentecost Sunday
As part of the Schlossgrabenfest Darmstadt, an ecumenical gospel service will take place again on Pentecost Sunday, May 24, 2026.
Music is the focus
The service begins at 11 a.m. on the Sparkasse stage in front of the Hessian State Museum Darmstadt and is themed "Opener of Heaven".
The musical accompaniment will be provided by the GoGospel Choir Traisa, conducted by Finn Krug.
Cellist Sue Schlotte will also perform her program "Cello by heart." Tobias Landsiedel will also be participating.
Cooperation of several church institutions
The service is organized by Kirche & Co. in cooperation with the Catholic Pastoral Area Darmstadt-Mitte and the Protestant Deanery of Darmstadt.
Admission is free.
