Wine, live music and conviviality at Sandböhl from August 14th to 17th
For four days, the Sandböhl area in Groß-Gerau will be dedicated to wine, music, and good company. From Friday, August 14th, to Monday, August 17th, the Groß-Gerau 1865 e.V. business association everyone to its traditional wine festival. Visitors can expect a diverse program with live music, Rheinhessen wines, and culinary offerings at the stalls and in the surrounding restaurants.
The wine village will be opened on Friday at 7 p.m. by the chairman of the trade association, Jörg Leinekugel, and Mayor Jörg Rüddenklau. Afterwards, "Beckmann & Klink" the musical opening with their diverse repertoire.
On Saturday evening, "Men in Black" will take to the Volksbank stage, performing well-known hits from pop, German folk music, and dance music. The Kerweborsch will provide the musical finale to Sunday with relaxed lounge music. For the traditional torchlit evening on Monday, Johann Schitter will once again be providing the musical entertainment. The musician, known to many from his time with the band "Echt Guat ," is now a fixture of the Groß-Gerau wine village.
For many years, the Groß-Gerau Wine Village has been one of the most popular events in the district town. It offers wine lovers and connoisseurs from Groß-Gerau and the surrounding region the opportunity to discover select wines from Rheinhessen winemakers and spend a few convivial hours together in a summery atmosphere.
The Groß-Gerau 1865 eV business association cordially invites all interested parties to visit Sandböhl.
