Road closures around the Braunshardter Tänchen – Free shuttle bus in operation
Visitors to the 50th open-air film festival at Braunshardter Tännchen should expect changes to traffic patterns. The film festival takes place from August 13th to 18th, 2026 .
For the duration of the event, Braunshardter Weg from Klein-Gerauer Weg to the railway underpass. Büttelborner Weg from the parking areas towards the forest opposite the tennis courts "Am Aulenberg".
Access to Braunshardter Tännchen is only possible via the one-way street system Am Aulenberg – Klein-Gerauer Weg
To make travel easier, a free shuttle bus will be offered from Thursday to Sunday . With the support of HEAG mobilo, this bus will run from Mathildenplatz (stop 13) via Darmstadt Central Station directly to the festival grounds at Braunshardter Tännchen and back again, without any intermediate stops.
An additional stop for the shuttle bus will be set up on Klein-Gerauer Weg at the corner of Braunshardter Weg .
The organizers recommend that visitors take the changed traffic routing into account when planning their arrival and use the free shuttle bus if possible.
