Discover, research and handle nature in the Kranichstein hunting lodge
In July, the Bioversum Jagdschloss Kranichstein again invites you to a diverse summer program for families with children. Whether honey -sling, building or making fire - everything revolves around experience, explore and do it yourself. The program will be supplemented by special tours in the museum and a falconer demonstration on July 20.
Visitor laboratory: from honeybees to carving
For children from 6 to 10 years, the visitor laboratory offers exciting workshops on Sundays. It starts on July 6th with the topic "From the honeycomb to honey bread" , in which the children can spin honey themselves. On July 13th there will be carved, on July 20th it is about biodiversity on meadows - and on July 27th, making fire as in the Stone Age is on the program.

Family holiday program: research, build, discover
The varied holiday program takes place from Tuesday to Friday - ideal for everyone who wants to experience nature up close. In the offer:

- 10. & 11.07.: Boot building followed by a race on the Ruthsenbach
- 15. & 16.07.: Discover and tinker local forest animals
- 17. & 18.07.: Insect excursion to Ruthsenbach
- 22. & 23.07.: Wild bees and flower meadows
- 24. & 25.07.: From wolf to dog - evolutionary search for traces
- 29. & 30.07.: Make cords from plant fibers
- 31.07.: Construction of a child -friendly fire drill
- Time: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Special tours and forest adventures on July 20th
A special day is Sunday, July 20 :
- 11:00 am : Children's tour with hand puppets around the water
- 11:30 a.m .: Forest adventure with dwarf dabbe ("treasure hunt")
- 2:00 p.m .: Visitor laboratory on biodiversity
- 3:00 p.m .: Falconian demonstration with owls and birds of prey
- 3:00 p.m .: Special tour for the exhibition "When the deer sees red - the hunters and their green"
All events take place in any weather. Early registration is recommended.
