The municipality of Bickenbach welcomes several businesses to the new location – the approximately 6.9-hectare site expands the existing industrial park
in the "In der Delle" industrial park in Bickenbach. At a reception, Mayor Markus Hennemann welcomed the business owners and reviewed the development of the approximately 6.9-hectare site.
The area extends the existing industrial park on Berta-Benz-Straße. The development was based on a cooperation agreement between the municipality and the Hessian Land Company (HLG) from 2021. The planning resolution and the adoption of the bylaws followed in 2022 and 2023.
Industry mix in the "In der Delle" industrial park
Companies located at the site include HuN Energie, specializing in emergency power supply, and the family-owned company WILHELM SCHMIDT, which manufactures reusable stainless steel containers for applications including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and specialty chemicals.
Raiffeisen Waren-Zentrale Rhein-Main AG (RWZ) also has a presence in the area. FS Filter- und Schmierstofftechnik GmbH, which has been based in Bickenbach for many years, is continuing its expansion there. Furthermore, there are plans to develop a business park on the Dreher company site, which could offer space to smaller companies and craft businesses.
According to the municipality, the planning of the industrial park took into account requirements for photovoltaics, green roofs, other greening measures and tree planting.
“For us, economic development and sustainability are not opposites. A modern business location must combine both,” explained Mayor Hennemann.
