Exhibition in the women's section of the Fürstenlager State Park from June 7, 2026
The exhibition "Light and Color," featuring works by the painter Johann Rosenboom, will open on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the women's section of the Fürstenlager State Park in Bensheim-Auerbach. The exhibition will run until June 28, 2026.
The exhibition focuses on landscapes, natural phenomena, architecture, still lifes, objects, and figures. Rosenboom translates these motifs into various painting techniques and transforms them through the targeted use of light, color, and form.
The works oscillate between figuration and abstraction. Characteristic of the artist's visual language are multi-layered color fields, spatial density, and an intensive exploration of atmospheric effects.
The exhibition is intended as an invitation to perceive the effect of light and color in different forms and to experience the possibilities of painterly transformation.

Johann Rosenboom was born in Leer, studied at the Kassel Art Academy and has worked as a freelance artist since 1981. Today he lives in Kassel and in Grizzana-Morandi in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna.
