The Women's and Equal Opportunities Officer invites you to a discussion on "Learning to Set Boundaries" on November 26, 2025.
As the city of Riedstadt announces, the women's and equal opportunities officer Jennifer Muth, in cooperation with the Office for Civic Women's Work, will an online event entitled "No is a complete sentence - learning to set boundaries" on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 7 p.m.
Why saying "no" is so difficult
Women often find it difficult to refuse a request or inquiry – whether at work, in volunteer work, or in their personal lives. This presentation addresses why this is the case and how to learn to recognize one's own needs and set clear boundaries .
The speaker is Tessa Koschig , who works higher ranks of the Hessian police force psychological consultant , systemic coach , and female empowerment mentor . According to Muth, her perspective from the police force provides "very special insights into issues that affect women."
Self-determination and self-worth
The focus of the evening is on strengthening self-esteem. A conscious "no" to others can mean a "yes" to oneself. By learning to set boundaries, women promote their self-efficacy and can move from a victim role to active, self-determined action .

Participation is free of charge . Registration is possible via email to frauenbeauftragte@riedstadt.de or directly via the dial-in link:
