Smartphones, keys, jewelry and other items are waiting to be picked up
Numerous lost items are waiting to be claimed by their owners at the lost and found office in Weiterstadt. Between July 1st and September 30th, 2026, items such as smartphones, keys, wallets, jewelry, and various personal belongings were handed in. These items can be viewed and collected at the city office located in the Medienschiff building at Darmstädter Straße 40.

Among the registered lost and found items are two smartphones, 14 keys, six wallets, two smartwatches, a power bank, a tracker, in-ear headphones and a stylus.
Numerous pieces of jewelry were also handed in, including five necklaces, five bracelets, two pairs of earrings, two rings, a wristwatch, and a pendant.
In addition, the lost and found office is holding three pairs of glasses, sunglasses, a glasses case, two women's scarves, a cardigan, trousers, a backpack, a water bottle, and walking sticks. Two driver's licenses and a Hesse public transport ticket are also among the items handed in.
Lost and found items can be collected from the media ship
Anyone who has lost an item can contact the Weiterstadt town hall during regular opening hours. The lost and found office is located in the Medienschiff building at Darmstädter Straße 40.
The city charges an administrative fee of ten euros for the safekeeping of a found item.
