HEAG is preparing for construction work – parking area will no longer be usable from mid-July
The public parking lot at Marienplatz in Darmstadt will no longer be available from mid-July 2026. HEAG (Darmstadt's public transport company) has issued this notice. The closure is due to preparatory work for upcoming construction projects on the site.
The existing lease for the parking area officially ends on July 31, 2026. To allow the necessary preparations for further work to begin in a timely manner, the parking lot will be closed from mid-July.
HEAG asks drivers to use other parking options in the area.
