Edition of the popular market on Ascension Day with regional offer and environmental information
The Büchnerstadt Riedstadt invites you to the 33rd edition of the Riedstadt eco-market on Thursday, May 29. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Richthofenplatz in Erfelden-directly at the Martin-Roth Bridge and the entrance to the Kühkopf nature reserve-transforms into a marketplace around environmentally conscious shopping, sustainable products and regional specialties.
The offer ranges from food oils, honey, soaps and kitchen wood tools to garden perennials and spice plants. The market is accompanied by numerous information stands to environmental and climate protection, energy savings and regional initiatives. There is also a lot of culinary delights: bread, dishes, wine and beer from the region invite you to linger among the old plane trees.
The supporting program begins at 11 a.m. with the morning pint and live music of the Trish & Mo group (RE) -with classics of the singer-songwriter era and songs of the 1970s and 80s. At 2:30 p.m. there is a comedy appearance by Micha Messermann. For children and adolescents from 11 a.m., the off-road bus of the youth office with game and sports offers is available.
For the first time, the market is supplemented by a barrier -free compost toilet - a chemical -free, odor -neutral and water -saving alternative. She is provided by Kompotoi in cooperation with the EAD Darmstadt. Information material is available on site.
The visit to the market can be ideally connected to the Kühkopf-Knoblochsaue nature reserve.
