The district administration supports households with individual photovoltaic consultations
Anyone wishing to make good use of solar power can now receive free on installing photovoltaic (PV) systems Groß-Gerau district office . The Climate Protection Department offers individual consultation appointments every Tuesday. Prior registration by email to klima@kreisgg.de is required.
Especially given rising energy costs, investing in your own photovoltaic system is worthwhile. The self-generated electricity can be used specifically during daylight hours – for example, for household appliances or electric cars – which not only reduces electricity costs but also raises awareness of your own energy consumption. The government feed-in tariff contributes to the economic viability of the systems.
Information event on solar power on July 29th
In addition to individual consultations, the district invites the public to an on solar power on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 6 p.m. The event will take place in the Georg Büchner Hall at the Groß-Gerau District Office. Further information can be found on the district's website at klima.kreisgg.de .
