Bring your picnic basket and blanket to the Volkspark: The Goddelau Music Association 1971 invites you to a picnic concert in Goddelau on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The event is being held in cooperation with the cultural office of the town of Riedstadt. Admission is free.
Under the direction of Thomas Grimm, the musicians will present a program of classical and modern wind music. Weather permitting, the Volkspark will provide the backdrop for the concert, and visitors are expressly invited to bring blankets and their own picnic baskets to enjoy the atmosphere.
Drinks and seating available
The organizer will provide cold drinks. Seating is also available for older visitors.
Even in bad weather, the concert will not be cancelled. In that case, the event will be moved from Volkspark to the Christoph-Bär-Halle, Pestalozzistraße 4 in Goddelau.
