Works at the beginning of September may lead to temporary disruptions in the mobile network
Modernization work is scheduled to begin at Deutsche Telekom's mobile communications site in Weiterstadt-Gräfenhausen at the beginning of September. According to the company, the work will take place during calendar week 36, from August 31 to September 6, 2026 , and should be completed within that week.
The mobile phone site FY0577 in Gräfenhausen is affected . Deutsche Telekom regularly upgrades its mobile phone sites to the latest technical standards. While many adjustments can be made remotely, certain modernizations require work directly on the technical equipment.
Temporary disruptions possible
During the work, there may be temporary disruptions to the mobile network in the area. According to Telekom, users who use their smartphones via a Wi-Fi network during this time should notice little or no impact from the work.
Once the modernization is complete, the site should be available again as usual.
