Works by Gabriele Nold and Felicithas Arndt from June 2nd in Darmstadt
The Regional Gallery of Southern Hesse presents the exhibition “Complex Networks”, a joint project by the Griesheim painter Gabriele Nold and the Offenbach ceramic artist Felicithas Arndt.
The exhibition will open on Tuesday, June 2nd, at 6 pm in the north wing of the Kollegiengebäude at Luisenplatz.
Art between nature, structure and ecology
The exhibition combines painting and ceramic art into a unified artistic concept. The focus is on nature, organic structures, and ecological relationships.
Following the welcome address by District President Jan Hilligardt, Frankfurt gallery owner Barbara von Stechow introduces the works of the two artists.
Plants, fungi and organic forms
Gabriele Nold's works deal with plants, landscapes, animals and fungal networks as symbols of ecological and emotional connections.
The artist draws particular inspiration for her work from the underground networks of fungi and mycelia.
In contrast, Felicithas Arndt's ceramic objects are reminiscent of corals, shells, or organic tissues. Her works deliberately move between sculpture and design object, exploring fragility, change, and relationships with nature.
Exhibition open until the end of August
The exhibition is supported as part of the South Hesse Cultural Summer and can be seen until August 25th.
The exhibition is open weekdays from 10 am to 4:30 pm, Fridays until 3 pm or by appointment.
Registrations for the opening can be made by telephone on 06151 12 6163 or by email to claudia.greb@rpda.hessen.de .
Further information and digital catalogues are available from the Regional Gallery of Southern Hesse.
