Proceeds from donations and coffee and cake sales enable new wooden toys for the nursery of the Kita An der Riedbahn
The nursery at the An der Riedbahn in Riedstadt has received new wooden games and toys. The purchase was financed by a donation from the Riedstadt Repair Café.
Günter Kleinwächter presented the donation to the daycare center on behalf of the Repair Café. Among the items purchased were wooden games for children aged two and up, such as "Brick by Brick," "Fishing for Fish," and "Count." Also included were two toy cash registers, a food processor with accessories, and a "starlight sheep" for one of the nursery's sleeping rooms.
The proceeds regularly benefit children
The Riedstadt Repair Café takes place approximately every two months on Saturdays from 2 pm to 5 pm in the old town hall of Crumstadt. Visitors can repair small household appliances there together with volunteer helpers. The assistance is free; only necessary replacement parts need to be paid for.
During its opening hours, the Repair Café collects donations and offers coffee and cake. The proceeds are regularly donated to children's facilities in Riedstadt. This time, the Kita An der Riedbahn daycare center was selected.
