Favorable weather allows for early adjustments for cycling
Due to the currently very favorable weather conditions for marking work, the Mobility and Civil Engineering Office initial work at the beginning of this week to implement the planned adaptation of the cycling facilities in Dieburger Straße .
Initially, road marking work was carried out in Flotowstraße and Wolfskehlstraße . In addition, the parking spaces were adjusted at the western end of Dieburger Straße, in the area of the Schumannstraße intersection.
This included modifying funnel markings and rearranging hatched areasto facilitate the planned taxi signage and the installation of the necessary traffic signs in the roadway. These measures serve the gradual implementation of the traffic adjustments and were deliberately brought forward to take advantage of the favorable weather conditions.
