Anniversary run in the Fasanerie – a sign of mental health and solidarity
On Sunday, June 1, 2025 the 12th Run Against Depression will take place in the Fasanerie park in Groß-Gerau – this year coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the organizing Alliance Against Depression in the Groß-Gerau district . The town of Groß-Gerau is supporting the run as a cooperation partner, together with the long-distance running division of the Groß-Gerau Gymnastics Club (Turnverein 1846 eV Groß-Gerau) .
The run starts at 11:30 a.m. Registration and distribution of race wristbands will take place between 10:30 and 11:15 a.m. at Dornberg Castle (adult education center). The approximately 1.5-kilometer loop through the pheasantry can be run, walked, or strolled as often as desired and at your own pace – there is no competitive element . People of all ages and fitness levels are welcome – every step counts .

Afterwards, a lively festival at Dornberg Castle visitors to linger. A diverse program awaits, including:
- Live music from " Chic Times "
- Dance performance by the clogging group " No Limits " of TV 1846 Groß-Gerau
- Fun and games for children with the " Cheeky Playmobile " of the SJD – Die Falken Darmstadt e. V.
- Information booths on the topic of depression
- Food and drinks
- Certificates will be awarded to all participants

- Free for registered participants
- 5 Euro entry fee for spontaneous on-site participation (benefits alliance work)
- Children and young people generally start for free
