Exchange on senior citizen services, health and social participation
The Eberstadt Senior Citizens Network invites all citizens interested in senior citizens' work to the next meeting on Monday, October 20, 2025 , at 3:30 p.m. in the Eberstadt Care Center (operated by ArcheNoris gGmbH, Nußbaumallee 12, Darmstadt-Eberstadt).
The meeting will begin with a discussion of current developments in senior services within the district . Following this, the advocacy group for older people on the current status of their work.
The host, the Eberstadt care center, will introduce itself and provide an overview of its services and offerings. Visitors will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to representatives of ArcheNoris gGmbH .
Health and participation in old age
Another program item focuses on the topic of health in old age . Judith Windmöller , coordinator of the "Healthy City" initiative in Darmstadt , will provide information about the diverse health-promoting services available for older people. The focus will be on ways for seniors to remain active and take advantage of existing programs.
In addition, a local association from the field of deafness presented, which will report on its work on social participation.
