Exchange on senior citizen work, health and social participation
The Eberstadt Senior Citizens Network invites all citizens interested in working with senior citizens to the next meeting on Monday, October 20, 2025 , at 3:30 p.m. in the Eberstadt Care Center (sponsor: ArcheNoris gGmbH, Nußbaumallee 12, Darmstadt-Eberstadt).
The opening event will focus on current developments in senior citizen services in the district . Following this, the senior citizen advocacy group on the current status of their work.
The host nursing home in Eberstadt will then introduce itself and provide insights into its offerings and services. Visitors will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to representatives of ArcheNoris gGmbH .
Health and participation in old age
Another program item is dedicated to the topic of health in old age . Judith Windmöller , coordinator of the "Healthy City" Darmstadt , will provide information about the diverse health-promoting programs available for older people. The focus will be on ways seniors can stay active and take advantage of existing programs.
In addition, a local association working in the field of deafness presented and reports on its work towards social participation.
