District Administrator wants commitment and success - ten German championship titles go to breeding clubs in the region
The small animal and poultry breeding has a permanent place in the district of Groß-Gerau- this was once again evident at the traditional honor in the district office: 26 adults, four young people and six breeding communities were awarded for their outstanding achievements in 2024. The successes include ten German championship titles , numerous national victories and special merits in volunteering.
District Administrator Thomas Will praised the performance of the breeders: "Every success is the result of hard work, careful care and deep connection to animals. With passion and expertise, they ensure that diversity and quality are preserved in small animal breeding." The participation of young people is particularly gratifying: four young people from Stockstadt and Leeheim were honored for their Hessian championship titles .

for the 44th time - a sign of appreciation that the circle consciously maintains. Wilfried Sudheimer from the Trebur small animal breeding association received a special ceremony for his decades of commitment . He has been active in breeding for over 60 years, organizes work assignments, maintains the clubhouse and is still actively involved. Elke Landau from the Department of Culture, Sport and Voluntary praised him as a "thousand all -oms of the volunteer".
, Bohnwagner also praised the exceptionally high level of breeding work in a circle. He recalled the many silent helpers in the clubs, who make an important contribution away from public perception - for meetings, organization or the care of club facilities.
In addition to certificates and recognition, the honored also received small gifts: sports towels for adults, drinking bottles for children and adolescents . The event was supported by the Sparkassen Foundation .
