Small animal and poultry breeding has a firm place in the Groß-Gerau district – this was once again demonstrated at the traditional awards ceremony in the district administration office: 26 adults, four young people, and six breeding associations were honored for their outstanding achievements in 2024. Their successes included ten German championship titles , numerous state victories, and special contributions in voluntary work.
District Administrator Thomas Will praised the breeders' achievements: "Every success is the result of hard work, meticulous care, and a deep connection to the animals. With passion and expertise, you ensure that diversity and quality are preserved in small animal breeding."
